This Sunday at 5pm, NGV will be hosting a book signing with Kaws. Tickets were sold via their Design Store online for $69.95 AUD = $47.53 USD. Each purchase will include a copy of the exhibition catalogue which will be signed and distributed in person. Only 1 book will be signed per guest and he will not be signing any other items. Yesterday, while everyone was waiting by their computer screens, phones etc. for the new Gone toy release, people was also busy trying to figure out how they can get their hands on the new Kaws Portfolio “Tension”. Once the “Gone” dropped and everyone was bitching taking L’s (including myself), NGV cocked teased us with the chance to enquire for the new portfolio. What are the chance of scoring? Shit who the hell knows, but good luck cause the odds are definitely against us. But hey look at the bright side, you still have a chance to buy some trinkets on their webshop.
