CORE: Community Organized Relief Effort Auction On Paddle8

Last night while scrolling through Paddle8’s website, this beautiful painting with a yellow face yelled at me “Let me tell you something!” - Fire Marshall Bill voice lol. So as I admire the piece I happened to notice that the artist name of the piece is the one and only Jim Carrey, Yes ! Jim Carrey the actor. For those that didn’t know, Jim has been painting for many years and his work is amazing. Carrey had a mini documentary which debuted his art work in 2017 called “I Needed Color” where he opens up about channeling his sadness into art. It was awesum trust me !

But back to this painting, the piece is called “Out Of Nowhere-Eva” which was executed in 2016. Sadly I cannot afford the piece due to the starting bid of 50K, but for those that can check out the CORE auction at Paddle8 to see other great works that was contributed from amazing artists like Swoon and Ai WeiWei for a great cause.

CORE: Community Organized Relief Effort, is the non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives and strengthening communities affected by or vulnerable to crisis. Within hours of the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, founder Sean Penn mobilized a powerful network to take immediate action. Since then, the organization has expanded beyond Haiti to work with communities in Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, and the United States impacted by natural disasters. - Paddle8
